Lourdes Nurse Camps allow high school juniors and seniors to experience the exciting world of nursing through hands-on learning opportunities.

The Lourdes University College of Nursing and Social Sciences offers Safe Sitter training for rising students in Grades 6-8.

Safe Sitter is a medically-oriented instruction series that teaches boys and girls ages 11-13 how to handle emergencies when caring for young children. The program offers actual hands-on training in the following areas:

• basic lifesaving techniques
• safety precaution to prevent accidents
• how to activate the emergency system
• tips on basic child care
