Lourdes University is accredited by nine national, regional, and professional organizations including the Higher Learning Commission and the Ohio Department of Higher Education (formerly known as the Ohio Board of Regents). The Lourdes University Teacher Education Initial and Advanced Licensure Programs in the College of Social Sciences are accredited under the CAEP Accreditation System for the 7-year period from fall 2022 to fall 2029.

The Lourdes University Division of Education is pleased to provide candidate performance data and other consumer information as part of the CAEP Accreditation Policy.

CAEP ANNUAL REPORTING MEASURES

CAEP has four annual reporting measures used to provide information to the public on program outcomes and impacts. The following is the list of CAEP measures with links to pieces of supporting evidence.

1. Impact on P-12 Learning and Development
The data provided displays the completer impact in contributing to P-12 student-learning growth AND (b) completer effectiveness in applying professional knowledge, skills, and dispositions.

The OTES report displays the last three years of collected data from the Ohio Department of Higher Education. Please note, ODHE has not released the 2022-23 data yet.

The OPES report displays only the 2021-22 school year data collected from the Ohio Department of Higher Education as ODHE has not released the 2022-2023 data yet.

As both contain limited information, the value-added report from the Ohio Department of Higher Education is also provided.

2. Satisfaction of Employers
The data provided displays data collected on employers’ satisfaction with program completers.

The Lourdes employer survey responses are provided for 2022-23 graduates of both the initial and advanced programs.

3. Candidates Meeting Program Expectations

The data provided displays data used to determine if candidates are meeting program expectations and ready to be recommended for licensure.

As yearly data requires an ‘n’ of 10 to provide data from the Ohio Department of Higher Education MRS system, we provided both the 2022-23 school year data as well as a 3-year report to meet the required n for data to be analyzed.

For initial programs, we provided OAE results 2022-23 as well as OAE results 2020-2023.

For advanced programs, we provided OAE admin results 2022-23 as well as OEA results 2020-23.

Further we provided the full Competency Report to fill any gaps.

4. Ability of Completers To Be Hired
The data provided displays data used to determine the ability of completers to be hired.

We provided a single chart for the past three years of initial and advanced program completers’ ability to:

-be employed in their licensure area
-be employed outside licensure area
-attend graduate school in lieu of employment
-unknown
