Students pursuing a Public Health degree learn firsthand the relationships between government and healthcare access, the treatment and prevention of diseases, and the economics and ethics of health.

Public Health student
Public health studies have never been more critical. As a Public Health major, you will focus on designing and implementing health policy programs for the general population, those with mental health concerns, and treating infectious diseases. Upon graduation, you will have learned about epidemiology, the principles of statistical inference, social and behavioral sciences, US healthcare systems, and more.
With a bachelor’s degree in public health, you are prepared to apply to graduate school. Public Health graduates can pursue employment as public health engineers, industrial hygienists, state or federal environmentalists, environmental health emergency response specialists, non-governmental organization directors, and health communications specialists.
