Features

As Lourdes University partners with The University of Olivet to support students in completing their degrees, families can be assured that the highest priorities in this transition are cost stability and timely graduation. The University of Olivet is committed to ensuring that students are able to complete their degree programs without increased financial burden. Each transferring student will receive a personalized financial review outlining tuition, housing (if applicable), and associated costs, with the goal of maintaining a net cost that is equal to or lower than what the student would have paid to finish at Lourdes. Financial aid professionals will work individually with families to provide transparency and clarity before any enrollment decisions are made.Equally important, UOlivet is committed to protecting students’ time to graduation. All previously earned credits will be carefully evaluated and applied toward an equal or comparable degree program. Before enrolling, each student will receive an individualized degree completion plan that clearly outlines remaining requirements and confirms a realistic graduation timeline. When possible, residency requirements may be waived and flexible course delivery options—including online offerings—may be utilized to keep students on track.Beyond academics and cost, UOlivet places strong emphasis on personal support during times of transition. Dedicated advisors, faculty mentors, and student support staff will guide students through the process, ensuring continuity in academic advising, access to student services, and opportunities for campus engagement. For student-athletes, coaching staff will provide guidance regarding participation opportunities and team integration. This partnership is designed to minimize disruption, provide financial clarity, and ensure that students can move forward with confidence—completing their degrees on time, at a predictable cost, and with the support necessary to succeed.
