Features

Marian University warmly welcomes transfer students who are ready to take the next step in their academic journey. Prospective undergraduate transfer students should follow Marian’s standard undergraduate transfer admission process, which can be found at marian.edu/admissions. Marian reviews transfer applications on a rolling basis, enabling students to apply and receive decisions throughout the year. Marian evaluates transfer credits from accredited institutions and works with students to determine how completed coursework may apply toward their chosen degree programs. Students are encouraged to speak with transfer admissions counselors to plan the strongest pathway to degree completion.

It’s important to note that the transfer process for graduate programs at Marian differs from the undergraduate process. Admission to graduate programs is based on the standards and space availability specific to each graduate school and degree. Prospective graduate students must meet program-specific admission criteria and follow the application process outlined by the respective graduate department; these requirements may include prior coursework, GPA standards, and other documentation. Graduate transfer eligibility is not automatic and is contingent upon meeting those published criteria.

Marian’s admissions team is dedicated to helping transfer students and their families through each step of the application process, ensuring a smooth transition into the Marian community.
