Lourdes Community Mourns the Loss of Valued Colleague Rosalyn Harrison
Nurse Anesthesia Program professor served her profession and community.
Rosalyn Harrison, Assistant Professor and Assistant Program Director in the Nurse Anesthesia Program (NAP), passed away on Friday, April 12, after an extended illness.
Students in the NAP program greatly respected Dr. Harrison, who brought much-appreciated skill and expertise to her teaching. In addition to her teaching role at Lourdes, she remained active in her field until recently, when she served as a nurse anesthetist at St. Mary’s Mercy Hospital and Troy Beaumont Hospital in Michigan. Roz also provided medical assistance at community events in Detroit and served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1992-2008, earning the rank of Second Lieutenant.
Arrangements are pending at this time. Please keep Rosalyn, her family, friends, and Lourdes NAP colleagues Sue Rawson and Howie Brown in your thoughts and prayers.
