Education: Master of Special Education with a certificate in Assistive Technology, Bowling Green State University; Bachelor of Science in Education (Dual Emphasis in mild/moderate and moderate/intensive intervention), Bowling Green State University

Kersten Davis joins Lourdes University as an Instructor in Special Education, overseeing the Master of Special Education program in partnership with Tiffin University. Her area of expertise and interests includes mild/moderate intervention, high incidence disabilities, least restrictive environment, transition services and assistive technology.

Kersten earned her Master of Special Education, Graduate Certificate in Assistive Technology and Bachelor of Science in Education (dual emphasis in mild/moderate and moderate/intensive intervention) from Bowling Green State University.

She holds a dual K-12 Intervention Specialist license in mild/moderate and moderate/intensive intervention, and is highly qualified in Math, English Language Arts and Reading. While working in K-12 education, she served on Response to Intervention teams, transitional services, mathematic curriculum advisory teams, and coached girls’ varsity soccer for many years. She was also part of Ohio Middle Level Association’s 2020 Team of the Year.
