Master of Organizational Leadership (MOL)

Master of Organizational Leadership

he MOL program at Lourdes University is ideal for employees within larger organizations who aspire to ascend to management or leadership roles. At its core, the program is an active learning experience that prepares students for the challenges and opportunities of modern leadership.

The Master of Organizational Leadership curriculum focuses on planning, financial management, diversity, and social responsibility. Our 30-credit-hour program offers a streamlined path to a master’s degree compared to the traditional 36-credit-hour programs offered elsewhere. That means you can achieve your educational goals more efficiently while maintaining your professional responsibilities. With careful planning and the availability of summer courses, you can complete the program requirements in less than 18 months.

Pursuing higher education while managing your career and personal commitments can be challenging. The MOL’s flexible learning format makes it an excellent opportunity for working professionals to enhance their leadership skills without disrupting their current commitments.

Program requirements include the following ten pioneering courses in leadership:

  • Leadership Foundations
  • Leadership & Organizational Behavior
  • Diversity & Leadership
  • Ethical Leadership
  • Interpersonal Issues in Leadership
  • Financial Tools for Leaders & Organizations
  • Leadership & Organizational Development
  • Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Research Methods and Statistical Analysis
  • Leadership Capstone Project (a flexible, customizable capstone project that focuses on special topics in leadership)

Message from the University President

“This program embodies our commitment to nurturing leaders who not only excel in their careers but also champion positive change in our communities. Its return signifies our dedication to providing valuable education that transforms lives and uplifts the broader community.”

—Dr. William Bisset, President of Lourdes University

Message from the College of Business and Leadership Dean

The MOL is “an ideal preparation for mid-career professionals who aspire to assume leadership positions. We have recently revamped the MOL program. We made it shorter (10 courses) and more focused on the needs of working professionals. We love to work with organizations, and we can tailor the program to their specific needs, which includes modality (online vs. in-person) and location (on-campus vs. on corporate sites).”

—Dr. Yasser Alhenawi, Dean of the College of Business and Leadership
